This site sets no cookies. Nothing is stored on your device when you read these pages, which is why you have not been asked to agree to anything.

Nothing is stored on your device

No cookies, no local storage, no session storage, no fingerprinting.

You can block cookies entirely and every part of this site will work exactly as it does now, because none of it depends on them.

Why there is no banner

European law requires your consent before anything is stored on or read from your device, unless it is strictly necessary to deliver the page you asked for. We store nothing at all, so there is nothing to ask you about, and a banner would be theatre.

If that ever changes — if we add visitor statistics, for example — the banner will appear before the change does, and this page will say plainly what is set and why.

The map is the one exception

The Arrival chapter shows a map of where we are. It stays an inert panel until you click it. Clicking loads Google Maps, and from that point Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google's terms rather than ours.

This is the only third party the site can hand you to, and it cannot happen by accident.

When you leave for a booking platform

Book buttons open our listing on Booking.com in a new tab. Their cookies are set by them, on their site, under their policy. None of that is under our control.

Controlling cookies anyway

Every browser lets you see, block and delete cookies, usually under Settings and then Privacy. Since this site sets none, those controls will find nothing of ours — but they are worth knowing for the sites that do.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page changes with it.
